The first phase of the OPS (One Place Study) is an in-depth study of Oldnall End between 1839 and 1841, based on two rich primary sources:
- the Warwickshire Tithe Map and Tithe Apportionment of 10 April 1839, which enables us to identify each dwelling or plot of land in Oldnall End in 1839, along with its owner and occupier.
- the 1841 Census, which shows the residents of each property on the night of 6 June 1841, along with basic biographical details.
